But, before you leave the Philippines you have to register/file as legal to our Philippines Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) below is the website for better assistance in the future in case you encountered problems while working abroad.

From 2003 to 2019, I lived and worked in Singapore and Dubai. Throughout those years, I learned a lot—I learned to stand on my own and face challenges independently. I had the opportunity to work with several companies, interact with different nationalities, and adapt to various behaviors, all of which helped me grow and overcome obstacles.

Living overseas has its advantages—one of which is the opportunity to earn more, enjoy a comfortable lifestyle, and have secured insurance.

What made me decide to go back home, despite living a comfortable life?

In 2016, my son was born, and since no one was available to take care of him while I was working, I decided that I wanted him to grow up surrounded by relative.

In 2019, I decided to step away from the corporate world and start building my name in freelancing

If you plan to work overseas, the first thing you have to prepare is yourself. Are you willing to leave your loved ones?

Are you willing to work with different nationalities and adapt to new things? If your answer is yes, then go ahead, reach for your dream, and always pray to God.

Cheers,

Michelle
